   CHICK HEAVEN

Here are some options for you to try...

Baby Chick starter tips, And tricks.

Baby Chicks are pretty easy animals to take care of. All they need is, Chick Starter Food. In the link below you will find a highly recommended product that I use for our chickens.

I recommend the Chick Starter Food, Because it helps make your baby chicks grow easier and become  healthier. You will also need, A water holder, And a feeder. Linked below

Chick Feed

Feeders help so each baby chick gets their own bowl of food. The water holder is an easier way to give water to your baby chicks. If you put water in a large bowl and not a proper water holder, It can create quite the mess!  Something else that’s important is to add electrolytes to their water. I used a specific brand that I really like.

You will also need a heat lamp. If you are planning on getting baby chicks that is your main source of heat for them. Baby chicks need to be under a heat lamp at all times for the first 6 weeks. Linked below you will find a heat lamp that I prefer to use.

As your chicks grow

As your chicks grow you may notice some differences. Your chicks colors may start to get darker. And start to see their designs and colors on them.

After your chicks colors have become darker you may start to see them develope feathers.

 Outside Life

Even though your chicks are becoming chickens. They still need heat for a little longer I would highly recommend waiting for the perfect temperature to put your chickens in their new home. Meanwhile you will want to keep them in a brooder box for the first 6 weeks.

The best way to get them used to being in a hutch for the rest of their life. Is, when the first time you put them in, I would recommend keeping them in until at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed is to take them out and put them back in their temporarily home.

You can start doing that everyday if its good temperature outside to do it. You can take them in the hutch about an hour after you wake up.

And go put them in the hutch and leave them there until you put them back at night. You can do this for about a week.

When they start to get bigger, You can buy them a bigger water holder and feeder. Because they will eat more as they grow. In the link below Is a bigger feeder and water holder I use for my chickens. You can never be to prepared!  I hope you have enjoyed this informational post about getting you starter kit put together for your new baby chicks!
